Last year, GRAEF partnered with Bizzcontrol to efficiently organize this process within their office. Today, we speak with Ilse Simis to hear about their experiences with Bizzcontrol.
Ilse, why did you choose Bizzcontrol?
Ilse: “We have been following Bizzcontrol since its inception in 2020. We immediately recognized the significant added value that Bizzcontrol can bring to our clients, but initially, we did not see Bizzcontrol's use as widely applicable within our office. However, due to developments that occurred in 2021, we are now fully convinced of the application of Bizzcontrol throughout our entire office. Primarily, the high-quality management reports, the overarching office cockpit, and the simple simulations and annual forecasts will help us provide our clients with additional insights into their past figures, upon which we can make the right decisions for the future.”
Could you provide some more explanation about the use of the office dashboard?
Ilse: “GRAEF utilizes the latest digital tools to highly automate all basic accounting tasks. For instance, we work with Yuki and Silverfin, which allows us to have extremely accurate data at all times. Thanks to the office cockpit in Bizzcontrol, we now have a central overview from which we can monitor all our businesses and intervene quickly when necessary. For example, if a company shows a significant increase in revenue but profit or cash flow doesn't follow, we can promptly meet with this client to further analyze the figures and propose actions to steer the company in the right direction.”
That way, you can naturally intervene before it is too late! How do you translate these actions into figures?
Ilse: “For this purpose, we utilize the simulation and budgeting capabilities in Bizzcontrol. Through the simulator, we can easily calculate the impact of, for instance, a price increase of raw materials and determine how much our own prices need to rise to counteract this effect. Or when a client wishes to hire an additional staff member, we immediately assess how much the revenue should increase for this to be feasible. We then create a year forecast to map out the full impact. We don't start from scratch for this; instead, we use current figures from the first 6 months, supplemented with the last 6 months of the previous year. We then adjust the figures where necessary, providing our clients with a clear picture of where they will end the year, taking into account the agreed-upon actions.”

Ilse: “Bizzcontrol clearly offers more than just software. Setting up the Bizzcontrol platform went flawlessly, as we only had to provide our Yuki API key. During the onboarding session itself, nothing further needed to be implemented, allowing us to dive straight into the tool to extract valuable insights. The tool is very intuitive, which enabled all our employees to quickly become familiar with the platform. Furthermore, the monthly personal follow-up sessions ensure that we gradually become acquainted with all the capabilities of the platform.
